Welcome to Pinups for Purpose
Our Mission is to create a fun and playful calendar with wide-spread popular appeal, featuring local breast cancer
survivors in elegant, retro-style, pinup photographs.
Our goal is to raise $30,000 in 2012 for charities that support patients with breast cancer. The Pinups for
Purpose calendar also supports our models in reclaiming themselves while embracing their new self image.
It inspires and directly benefits others with similar challenges and informs
the public about fundraising events throughout the bay area.
The beauty of this program is it's ability to benefit any breast cancer charity as each
charity can sell our calendars for a substantial profit. The calendar may be
resold by any breast cancer charity as part of a fundraiser or given as a premium gift,
thereby continuing to fund organizations with a shared mission of education,
awareness, research, prevention and support.
